  • The World Climate Research Program (WCRP) Coupled Model Intercomparison Project, Phase 6 (CMIP6) data from the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) CESM2-WACCM model output for the "historical SSTs and historical forcing, but with 1950 halocarbon concentrations. Experiment is initialized from histSST (AerChemMIP) simulation from January 1950" (histSST-1950HC) experiment. These are available at the following frequencies: Amon, CFmon and Lmon.   • QUEST projects both used and produced an immense variety of global data sets that needed to be shared efficiently between the project teams. These global synthesis data sets are also a key part of QUEST's legacy, providing a powerful way of communicating the results of QUEST among and beyond the UK Earth System research community. This dataset contains a map of a ecosystem. This map depicts the 825 terrestrial ecoregions of the globe. Ecoregions are relatively large units of land contain ing distinct assemblages of natural communities and species, with boundaries that approximate the original extent of natural communities prior to major land-use change. This comprehensive, global map provides a useful framework for conducting biogeographical or macroecological research, for identifying areas of outstanding biodiversity and conse rvation priority, for assessing the representation and gaps in conservation efforts worldwide, and for communicating the global distribution of natural communities on earth.

  • Daily concatenated files of ceilometer cloud base height and aerosol profile data from Météo-France's Vaisala CL31 deployed at Quimper, France. These data were produced by the EUMETNET's E-PROFILE processing hub as part of the ceilometer and lidar network operated as part of the by EUMETNET members. This network covers most of Europe with additional sites worldwide. The site has a corresponding WMO Integrated Global Observing System (WIGOS) id: 0-20000-0-07201.   • Daily and monthly regularly gridded operational data at 2.5 degree resolution from 1 March 1994 to present containing the ongoing analyses and forecasts produced by the most recent ECMWF Integrated Forecasting System (IFS) model. The IFS is regularly updated as improvements are made to the model, computing facilities and observations used in data assimilation.

This dataset contains radiosonde measurements.

  • This dataset contains coupled physical-biogeochemical ocean second generation Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (GFDL-ESM2M) simulation outputs using the 1 degree NEMO-HadOCC model. The model output contains 3D Digital Image Correlation (DIC), alkalinity, temperature and salinity datasets at annualy-averaged frequency and monthly averaged surface ocean CO2 fugacities and fluxes. The overarching aim of this project was to provide UK and international governments with the best possible impartial information from which they can plan how best to work towards the global warming targets (the 'Paris Agreement') set at the Paris Climate Conference in December 2015.
