The Quality Assurance for Essential Climate Variables (QA4ECV) project produced four daily polar sea-ice products, each with a different averaging time window (24 hours, 7 days, 15 days, 31 days). For each time window, the number of samples, mean and standard deviation of Multi-angle Imaging SpectroRadiometer (MISR) cloud-free sea ice albedo was calculated. These products are on a predefined polar stereographic grid at three spatial resolutions (1 km, 5 km, 25 km). The time span of the generated sea ice albedo covers the months between March and September of each year from 2000 to 2016 inclusive. The ABACUS (Arctic Biosphere-Atmosphere Coupling at multiple Scales) research project is a major, linked programme of plant and soil studies, atmospheric measurements, aircraft and satellite observations, and modelling, to improve our understanding of the response of the arctic terrestrial biosphere to climate change. The data collected as part of the ABACUS Work Package 1 (Studies on plant allocation and phenology, and respiration-production ratios for major community types (via harvests, root measurement and isotope tracer experiments) includes root measurements and isotope ratios of plants as follows: Plant data for WP1 harvest and ingrowth core plots, Abisko (Sweden), 15 Jul 2007 - 08 Aug 2007 - Fine Root Length, Abisko (Sweden), 15 Jul 2007 - 08 Aug 2007 - Leaf and stem C and N, Abisko (Sweden), 15 Jul 2007 - 08 Aug 2007 - Fine Root Length, Kevo (Finland), 01 Jun 2008 - 03 Sep 2008 - Leaf and stem C and N, Kevo (Finland), 01 Jun 2008 - 03 Sep 2008
